Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of a seat at The Beauty Table, an in-person beauty experience held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, operated by The Beauty Table ("we," "us," "our").

By completing a booking you agree to these Terms.

2. Booking and Payment

• Each seat is priced at $185 CAD.
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe at the time of booking.
• A booking is confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of a confirmation email.
• Each session has a maximum of 10 seats. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Full refund: Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event date.
• Credit toward a future date: Cancellations made between 48 hours and 7 days before the event date.
• No refund: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event date.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event. In that case, attendees will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.

4. Transfers

• Seat transfers to another person are permitted up to 48 hours before the event. Contact us at thebeautytableco@gmail.com to arrange a transfer.

5. Event Conduct

• All ages are welcome. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour disrupts the experience for others.
• Photography for personal use is welcome. Commercial photography or recording requires prior written consent.

6. Photography, Video, and Marketing Use

• We may have a photographer, videographer, or team member capturing photos, video, and other content of attendees during the event for marketing purposes.
• By purchasing a ticket, you consent to being photographed or filmed at the event and grant The Beauty Table the right to use such photos, videos, and content for marketing purposes in perpetuity.

7. Health and Safety

• Certain beauty products used during the experience may contain allergens. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, please notify us at the time of booking.
• We are not liable for allergic reactions to products used during the event where attendees have not disclosed known sensitivities.

8. Liability

• Attendance is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by Alberta law, we are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.
• Our total liability in connection with any booking shall not exceed the price paid for that seat.

9. Intellectual Property

• All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by The Beauty Table and may not be reproduced without written permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or booking of a seat constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
